I got a reply from our corporate attorney that "We did file both of your applications together. However, each application is adjudicated separately. We anticipate her approval shortly."

Hi Paskal,
I can help.
1. I have a background in design and animation and about 5 years experience in Interactive Media in the marketing department. I can help out with interactive media, some video and animation (usually requires lots of equipment), illustration, identity design.
2. Over the last 3 years, I've been working with Joomla and have a fairly good grip on its inner workings. My web sites have fairly good search engine positioning for specific keywords.
3. In addition to the above, I have fairly good writing skills.
So, let me know if I can be of any help. I have completed my profile. I assume that all information provided will be kept private :)

I had a similar situation but there are no client site involved (in my case my office itself moved to a new location , albeit in the same Metro).
I inquired with some Attorney (the Employer's attroney is most unhelpful) and also did some research. Here is what I extracted from the Law text (20 CFR)
*******
655.715 Definitions.
Area of intended employment means the area within normal commuting distance of the place (address) of employment where the H1B nonimmigrant is or will be employed. There is no rigid measure of distance which constitutes a normal commuting distance or normal commuting area, because there may be widely varying factual circumstances among different areas (e.g., normal commuting distances might be 20, 30, or 50 miles). If the place of employment is within a Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) or a Primary Metropolitan Statistical Area (PMSA), any place within the MSA or PMSA is deemed to be within normal commuting distance of the place of employment;
***
20 CFR 655.734 (a) (2)
(2) Where the employer places any H1B nonimmigrant(s) at one or more worksites not contemplated at the time of filing the application, but which are within the area of intended employment listed on the LCA, the employer is required to post electronic or hard-copy notice(s) at such worksite(s), in the manner described in paragraph (a)(1) of this section, on or before the date any H1B nonimmigrant begins work.
(b) Documentation of the fourth labor condition statement. The employer shall develop and maintain documentation sufficient to meet its burden of proving the validity of the statement referenced in paragraph (a) of this section and attested to on Form ETA 9035 or 9035E. Such documentation shall include a copy of the dated notice and the name and address of the collective bargaining representative to whom the notice was provided. Where there is no collective bargaining representative, the employer shall note and retain the dates when, and locations where, the notice was posted and shall retain a copy of the posted notice.
****
Going by above (and also per my discussion with Attorneys and harvesting Atrtorney blogs),
1) when one move within the same Metro (MSA), no new LCA is required. What is required is that the LCA should be posted in the new location before H1 employee starts working .
2) When one move to a different Metro (or out of commutable area), a new LCA is required.
It is a controversy whether an amended H1 is required for all cases of new LCA. I have read one letter from USCIS to an Attorney where they say it is not required as long as a new LCA is approved before the move.
Hwoever, I have read in some Attorney blogs that USCIS insist for an amended H1 whenever a new LCA is filed. I will try to dig out that detail.

I had a strange situation. I checked on the case status site to see if there is any update on my case. I am a July 2 filer with EAD plus FP. The earlier update date was 9/2/2007. I checked there it says that it's updated as 11/1/2007, when I reread it I didn't notice anything different. Can anybody shed some light?
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Case received and pending.
On September 1, 2007, we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
This is very common, and this is what we call "Soft LUD" in our GC process Lingo. unlike a regular LUD where you see some change in status or information change on your case, Soft LUD happens when an IO for some reason goes through your application or some say it is a system generated one.
hope this helps.
good luck:)

Form AR-11 is also available for online filing. See below quote from the link you provided.
Most customers can now notify USCIS to change their address on a pending case online here on our website. Non-citizens can also now complete the Form AR-11 online here on our website.
The information stated here in the context of pending AoS applications is incorrect.
While all non-citizens must file an AR-11 when moving, all those with pending petitions and cases at USCIS must ALSO file a change of address specific to their receipt/case numbers.
You may do this ONLINE at the USCIS website.
https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa
Note, you must STILL file the AR-11.
As for your change of city, if you are no longer in the same metropolitan area you shoud be cautious. Unless you are in a position to use AC21 portability, you may be invalidating the Labor as this is only valid for a job in the specified census area. (Usually 30 to 50 mile range).

Healthcare reforms and their covering of "illegal aliens" in question.
Both are non-issue in this forum!
Both Healthcare reform and undocumented in question are issues that affect everyone on this forum. The healthcare bill is also important before CIR happens. The posts by blogfeeds are very helpful if you wish to know what is happening around you that affect your immigration issue and what others who work in the immigration area think.
People need to stop thinking narrowly about their EB3I PDs and visa bulletins only. If we wish to do advocacy effort, a good understanding of politics, current events that affect immigration reform is very important. Our community needs to read more about the political process, how to do advocacy efforts more than discussing EB2vsEB3 fights, tracking or sending junk emails to lawmakers. It only shows our ignorance of American political process. If we do any effort without understanding the political process, it will do us more harm than good.

Context is very important here. IRS has its own rules, USCIS has got its own and then universities have their own set of rules. I have had a lot of fight with university to get in-state tution fee on H-4 visa. So please explain your context and I can shed some more light on this topic (based on my own experience).
Can you tell me more about your fight with universities in getting an instate tuition under H-4? My son have been a CA resident for the past 7 years and has studied in CA schools. Doesn't this qualify him for an in-state tuition? What documents does he need to present to the university to show that he is qualified?

While I was travelling from India to USA, I was waiting at one of the airports in USA for my connection. An airlines staff asked for my passport and by mistake pulled away my
I-94 from from it. May be I was mistaken with the other passengers that
might be travelling out side US. The officer looked at my boarding pass for the next flight
(which was for the flight going to a city in USA), however, he didnt realized and by mistake he took away I-94 from
my passport (he was doing that for other passengers too so I thought it was part of the process).
I didnt knew that it needs to be preserved till I leave the USA. I know that in case of lost/stolen I-94 I need to file I-102. However, I doubt that in my case it might have reached the USCIS.
Please help me. I am very much worried.

The USCIS looks at the EAD eligibility option. And that option is there as I-485 applicant. (also this is a must field on the EAD application online where as the visa status is not)
But on the current visa status there is no option saying that you are an adjustee and so the CS person (She was not sure) said that visa status considered is the last applied visa status. So if you were on H1B its better to put H1B. I also saw this on a website somewhere.

Yes, USCIS can raise RFE ability to pay even in I-485 stage.
